Best new find in town. Everything is delicious! Made fresh every day. If you want items that are steamed (dim sum, steam pork buns and etc) call 20 minutes a ahead. They prefer to sell steam items fresh out of the steamer . They take cake orders as late as 24 hours ahead. No need to go to Oakland or San Francisco to get authentic Asian Pastries.
We just heard about this space and had to see if the reviews were good. Yes! A great Chinese bakery in Pittsburg! Good variety and fresh. After living near Oakland's Chinatown, we have been craving this style of bakery and today we get to reap the rewards.
The pork buns had a lot of meat instead of fat. Our timing was great that we had the custard buns fresh from the oven. They were delicious. The turnover pastry and custard tart crust we're light and flaky. The owners and staff were polite and helpful. The place was clean. I would go there again.
