The best quality in steaks from, Lucky, Safeway, Ralph"s, Food Max, and Food Source. I find the same very soft meats for under $20 per package and they cook very tender with no marination. Just salt, pepper, or season salt. I always seem to spend less money at WinCo. Don't get me wrong, everything adds up in the end, but I have gotten the same high quality value with a little more in my cart at WinCo. It's my favorite place to shop now more than the others I mentioned.
Wish I could give 3.5 rating. They are much better than local Safeway, have decent prices and keep a good number of registers open. Lose 1.5 stars because the variety of choices in some brands isn't great. Theyll have Bertolli meals, but only three kinds. Would like to see more selection. Some of produce can be hit/miss. A lot of the carts get the one crazy wheel problem. Mostly small things, so better than 3, but not quite a 4.
Prices are great here. Cashiers are pleasant and helpful. Only draw back is the produce department. Veggies bought in that department tends to spoil quickly. Sometimes too quick.
I shop at WinCo at least 5 times a week or more. It is cost effective, meets my budget and I like the design of the store. Shay is great. I share stories of my pet rabbits. She is what I like coming to the store. Friendly customer service. She deserves a raise.
The cashier was very friendly and pleasant. She made me laugh and smile. So friendly. Her name is LaDonna. I love your prices, very convenient. Only one thing, I wished that WinCo would accept credit cards, sometimes a customer, like me might not have cash at the time, and go up to pay, and after finding all the good bargans, and have to put it all back!
